2014 Larry H. Miller Day of Service

On Friday, April 25th we attended the annual Larry H. Miller Day of Service. This was the 5th annual event and we at Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Riverdale lent our services and volunteered to help the Boys and Girls Club set up as much as we could for their annual charity event. It was Larry's wish that we do all that we can to enrich our communities around us. And on this day, we hope to have moved one more step closer to doing so. Spring Car care tips from Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Riverdale

Did you know that April is car care month?

Well, there is good reason that it is! In April, especially here in Utah, as we start to move away from that cold weather and start to move into temperatures. And by all accounts, this is a good thing if you don't like the cold. It's important for you to take notice for your car as the seasons change. Here at Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Riverdale, we thought we'd put together some Spring Car Care tips for you to notice. The best time to get your car checked, is to have us conduct a multi-point inspection for your vehicle in our service department or by browsing our website for our service specials. Here are some other items to notice and check:

• All fluids: Your engine oil, power steering fluids, brake, transmission as well as windshield washer fluid, and the antifreeze coolant.
• Hoses and belts to make sure they are not cracked, brittle, frayed, loose or showing signs of excessive wear.
• Battery Life: along with making sure there is no acid build-up on the car battery. Also, look at the cables connected to them to make sure they're in good help.
• Brakes: Normally, you should have these checked at your oil changes, but when breaking while driving, check to see if everything feels right as well.
• Schedule a Spring tune-up: This will always help with your car's performance.
• Air Conditioner: The summer is coming fast, make sure you're prepared with a well working AC.
• Tires: This includes tire pressure and the tread tread. Keep in mind that uneven wear on the tires in an indication that you need an alignment. Tires should also be checked for bulges and bald spots.
• Wipers: You'll want to make sure your wipers cleanly wipe away water for the most optimal viewing out of your car's window.
• External Lighting: Break lights and head lights.

As the season of being grateful starts to wind down, we felt that we'd express our gratitude for the communities that we get to do business in. For us at this Larry H. Miller Riverdale location, being grateful for being in the communities of Riverdale, Ogden, Roy, Layton, Clearfield, Syracuse, and many others is a year around item for us. • Sept. Oct. 2013: We are Weber State Wildcat fans for life! This picture is from our tailgate bbq that we participated in every home game for the Wildcats this past season. Pictured here is Jerry Boevee, Weber State's athletic director with our GM, Troy Bullard. Oh, and don't forget the "Wildcat" purple Charger behind them.

• November 2013: The Boys and Girls Club made this poster for us that we get to proudly display. We sponsored them by sending 200 kids to get to see the Pioneer Days Rodeo in July, and we also helped them with a Halloween party.
